What We Do!

We are a dual licensed foster care agency with division of child services (DCFS) and department of services with people with disabilities ( DSPD) . We offer around the clock support services for foster parents, ensuring they have access to assistance and guidance whenever needed.

Become A Foster parents
Foster care is a temporary intervention for children who are unable to remain safely in their own homes. Every effort is made to keep children with their families unless the safety needs of the children or legal mandates indicate otherwise. Once a child is placed in foster care, the goal is provide permanency, safety, and enduring relationships, along with a sense of family, stability, and belonging in the east restrictive setting possible.
  • GoGivers Family Services serves Utah’s children by finding, educating, and nurturing families to meet the needs of children in foster care.
  • GoGivers Family Services recruits and train families to become professional parents that work with foster children in State’s custody.
  • GoGivers Family Services is a private 501 (c)(3) who want to serve our families and children in the state of Utah.
  • Children in Utah communities experiencing abuse & neglect often due to substance use disorder.
  • Culturally diverse children including LGBTQIA+ youth.
  • Children, siblings, and teens needing safe, diverse & affirming homes.
  • Empathetic adults who pass a background check, complete 32 hours of preservice trainings, and trauma informed trainings also ensuring safety for children in foster care.
  • Parents who are open to short-term and long-term placements.
  • Adults are just as diverse as the children; foster parents can be married or single, homeowners or renters, LGBTQIA+ , empty nesters, etc. They must have documented US status.

Qualities to become a foster parent

Number 1

Must be a single individual or married couples. You may not co- habitat (be unmarried, or live in the same household.)

Number 2

You must be 21 years or older

Number 3

Must be cleared by a medical provider to be healthy enough to care for children and persons that enter into your home.

Number 4

Must be financially stable to and able to support their household without relying on payment of foster care.

Number 5

All persons over 18 that reside in the home, must be and able to pass a background check.
